What is on grid system?

On-grid means your solar system is tied to your local utility's GRID. ... Being grid-tied is beneficial because you don't have to buy an expensive battery back-up system to store any excess energy. Being off-grid means you are not connected in any way to your grid's power system or utility company.

On-grid solar power systems generate power using a solar power system and are directly connected to the utility power grid. ... These systems work in collaboration with the power grid. In the case when there is not enough sunlight to meet your business' needs, the system runs on the power supplied by the grid.

 
Subsidy on on-grid?
We are Empanelled with RRECL ( Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd.) for Rooftop Power Generation Scheme 2017-18, Wherein Govt. is providing 30% subsidy to Institutional, Social and Residential Sectors.
You can contact to private firm also for installation due to heavy traffic for subsidy.

How to Calculate Ongrid system?
For System calculations we have to Calculate our total unit of month .
For example if our total month unit is 600 so we have to install 5kw for Decrease our bill to zero.
For example 
1kw generate 4 unit perday
So in 30 day 30×4= 120unit per month 
  
For Installation process.
1.if we want to install 4kw system in single phase we have to apply for 5kw capacity load connection because electricity department approve 80% load solar system on total load. 
2. After Completed load capacity we have to contact our solar dealer for Apply Ongrid solar system in electricity department . 
3. We sign a agreement between customer and electricity department for install solar system and deposit a charges normal for file.
4. After clear file we have to submit A netmeter to electricity department for test netmeter.
5. After successfully Paas netmeter test Department worker Install netmeter and load meter together.
 
6 in between all process solar dealer can install structure mount and solar panels,solar wire conncetion and grid tie inverter.


7. One important Thing that On-grid system work only where electricity Run 20-24 hours.

How to Pay department to us for export?
Electricity department not pay to us for export electricity they just adjust our bill to next month.
For example if we use 20 unit a month and we exports 20 unit then our bill will be zero and if we use 40 and give 30 then we have to pay 10 unit bill simple.
How much cost they pay to us?
Department give 3.75₹ per unit to us and take 7.50₹ .
It may be different rate State to state.
